Christ

Its derived from the Greek word Χριστός [Christo’s]. which means “Anointed One” which is derive from the Greek verb Χρισ [Chrio] meaning “to anoint”. In the Greek Septuagint, Christos was used to translate the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ [Mašíaḥ, messiah] “meaning one who is anointed”. Isaiah 61:1.

The Bible says in Revelation 4:8 “And the four beast had each of them four wings about him; and they were full of eye within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy Holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.” Holiness is what God is expecting from every Christians because our God is Holy 1Peter 1:15/16

when you live a Holy life worth of emulation, put on the new man according to Eph. 4:24 “And they that put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true Holiness” who is Jesus Christ is then you begin to live a victorious life over the works of the flesh.
